Sometimes the world leaves me wondering how God can live in all of us when we see how corrupt humanity is. It is always good and bad. When pondering this, the sun was about to rise. As I look out my window into the darkness waiting for the light, I am reminded that Jesus was born into the light.
My prayers leave me the sense that God lives inside all of life. Jesus is the face of God. People might say things as they’ve never seen God, and no one knows what God looks like. They wonder what gender, or size, or color. Truth is, none of that matters. Because every one of us sees God’s face every day. We see Him when we look in the mirror or at our family. We see God’s face in friends and strangers, and those who have trespassed against us. We see God’s face when we look into our pets’ eyes, or look at the sky and see the birds fly. God is life. He is everything that has breath. The animals, birds, reptiles, plants, and worms in the soil are all living. The earth is alive with God. The universe is alive with God. All the planets are alive with God – even the ones that we have no idea even exist yet. All the stars and all that darkness above to my senses are full of a living God and His Love for us. Remember when our teachers taught us that space goes on forever and ever, and is called infinity? The Trinity consumes that infinity. If we truly realize that God is living in each one of us, then how could we ever look at anything the same again? How could we lose ourselves as humanity drifts further away from our purpose in this infinity of God’s love?
I often say to my wife that I want to hear her thoughts because God speaks through her. God lives in her as God lives in you and me. God speaks through all of us, and to all of us. If we deny our sister or brother, we deny Christ. We won’t get to hear God talk to us. The Bible is the living word. God is in all things living. God is the Alpha and the Omega. The Beginning and the End. He was here before anything. He will remain here for infinity. That infinity is our eternity with God. He wants us with Him, not against Him. He wants us to have hope because He created His kingdom for us and that purpose.
But the first thing we have to do is accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. We need to accept the infinite love of God. If you have not done that, I invite you to do that right now. Pray with me…
“Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. Thank you for accepting me and giving me eternal life. Amen.”
I’d like to leave you with this thought. Try to see God in every living thing. Try to hear God in every living thing. Never stop trying to love God or to fulfill His will and plan for you. He knows you personally. You may wonder how. How can Jesus know so many people and answer so many prayers? It’s because every life that is living or has ever lived is God. That gives God many eyes, ears, and angels united together in Him to form Him. So don’t look for that physical form and wonder anymore. God’s form is right in front of you. Do you see God?
